I. Define space. Where is the Earth’s atmosphere does it begins?

Space is the name we give to area beyond the Earth’s atmosphere and between the planets and other celestial bodies. Scientist say that space begins in the atmosphere, around 100 KM above the surface of Earth.
II. Differentiate between natural and artificial satellites. What is the natural satellite of the Earth is called?

Natural Satellites
Natural satellites are naturally occurring celestial bodies, like the Moon, that orbit a planet or larger body.
Artificial Satellites
Artificial satellites are human-made machines, like GPS satellites, launched into space to orbit celestial bodies for communication and research.

Between Mars and Jupiter there are thousands of small rocky bodies which orbit the Sun. They are called asteroids or minor planets.

Answer:
Probes are the robotic device send into space. They travel very fast. Some fly past the planets, others orbit or land on them. They send back pictures and other information to Earth.
