i. What do you understand by classification and why do you think it is important?
Answer: Putting living things into certain groups and giving them scientific names is called classification. Classfication help us to understand how all the diffrents things in the world fit into pattren.

ii. Name the five kingdoms and give an example of a living thing from each kingdom.

iii. Name five invertebrates that could be living in a garden.
Answer: Snail , slug, centipede, ladybird, ant, earthworm.

iv. Name three invertebrates that live in the sea.

Answer:Biodiversity refers to the huge variety of living things on Earth , including plants, animals, fungi and bacteria.

Answer: No, not all insects fly, Some insects that do not fly includes ants, beetles(some species) , fleas, caterpillars and spiders.

viii. Differentiate between extinct and endangered animals. Give examples.

Endangered Animals
These are the animals which are facing danger of extinction.
Example: Wild Deer, Big Cat, Gaint Panda

Extinct Animals
A species which is no longer alive
Example:Dodo, Altas Beear, Golden Toad
